Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said his Country will promote the linking of Belt & Road Initiative with the integration process of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The Belt & Road Initiative is a Project that gives concrete results, Lukashenko said on Tuesday when accepting the Credentials from New Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong.

Belarus will do its best to promote the Belt & Road Initiative and will contribute to its docking with the Eurasian Economic Union, Lukashenko said.

President Lukashenko also said the nature of Belarus-China Relations is a comprehensive strategic partnership of mutual trust and win-win cooperation.

Ambassador Xie praised the China-Belarus Cooperation on all fronts, including the importance of mutual support between China & Belarus during the difficult time of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The China-Belarus Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has kept developing steadily since the two countries established diplomatic relations 28 years ago, Ambassador Xie stated.
