Nord Stream 2

MOSCOW, April 27 / Radio Sputnik. The Akademik Chersky vessel has begun laying the pipes of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in Danish waters, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the project operator Nord Stream 2 AG.
Until then, construction on this section was carried out only by the pipelayer “Fortuna”; it continues to lay the pipelines. Directly “Akademik Chersky” will have to build 85 kilometers of the gas pipeline, EADaily notes.
Nord Stream 2 envisages the construction of two strings of a gas pipeline from the Russian coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany.
